The Chilli Pickle is coming full circle, back to our original home on Meeting House Lane (albeit a different site).
This move is more than just a change of scenery, it’s a chance to reconnect with our roots in the heart of Brighton, surrounded by the independent spirit of the Lanes we know and love. We know we have found the perfect site to be our home for many more years to come.

Moving is a big step and we are almost there, but we could do with a bit of a helping hand getting over the line. All purchases valid from the date of purchase and can be used in Jubilee Street or Meeting House Lane. Jubilee Street will be closing 31st December and we will re-open in Meeting House Lane Mid January. We will keep you posted on official opening dates soon.

There are no expiry dates on our Bronze to Platinum Packages so you can redeem them in full or over multiple visits. Spend them as and when you want for as long as you want! T&Cs apply.
Tell us about the new site.
We are going full circle back to where it all started for The Chilli Pickle in 2008. 6-8 Meeting House Lane. Same Lane, different site.
The site is part of a trust who will be donating our rent to The Dervia Foundation which supports many great charities and causes. 90 covers so a bit smaller but not too small. We have a roof terrace for when the sun shines and a First Floor room that can be used for private functions and parties.
We have been looking for a long time for the perfect place and we have found it! It ticks all the boxes.
When do you open?
We will be trading as usual in Jubilee Street until December 31st.
Opening Meeting House Lane mid January 2025 after the team have had a little breather and we move everything over!
Will The Chilli Pickle change?
We will be in a different site and there will be a few design changes to fit the new space, but you will be able to spot lots of things you recognise (especially Dawn’s Dad’s shelving!) and we are re-purposing as much as we can.
Our amazing team will be coming with us bringing their home influence from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and will continue to cook up wonderful CP food alongside Alun. Ram, Dawn and the FOH team will still be there to look after you.
The Chilli Pickle is who we are and to be going back to where it all began with the support of our customers, means so much.
